At The Table is an effort to reach out to different audiences who haven’t traditionally connected with The Minneapolis Foundation. As a community foundation, we have a drive to be accessible to the community. At The Table is a vehicle to create conversations with those new to us.
Through events, such as Minnesota Meeting, and this blog, we welcome you to The Minneapolis Foundation’s table. We hope that you will participate in this emerging (and slightly experimental) process as we listen to your interests, uncover ways to best facilitate participation with TMF and best respond with resources and opportunities that fit your needs. Are there community issues you want to discuss? Speakers you want to hear? Grant making skills you want to develop? Trends you want to discover? We invite you to bring these ideas to the table.
We hope that you will be an active participant and add comments. We do, however, expect that comments be civil and that you do not post material that you know is inaccurate, false or confidential.
Your comments will not be screened or edited before they appear on the blog. We will, however, monitor and review postings. We reserve the right to remove any comment that staff of The Minneapolis Foundation determines is inappropriate or offensive.
No need to play Minnesota nice here. However, don’t make comments with obscenities, vulgarity, profanity, use ethnic or racial slurs; language that threatens, harasses or encourages illegal or criminal acts; material that is defamatory, or libelous. No language you wouldn’t use at your family table !
We also ask you not to post comments that infringes on copyright or trademark; solicitations or advertisements for any purpose; and impersonations of anyone.
The Minneapolis Foundation is not responsible for any content posted on this blog.
